Lisa started as a consultant web developer and network administrator for Natural Health Zone located at "The Mount" in 2001 where she was awarded the "Chew Chong award for Innovation". Our site diabeticforum.com was a support site for the US diabetic market, providing support and information along with nutritional advice and a web store that sold supplements based on answers to their health assessment quiz. Natural Health Zone was part of Kiwi Dairies which later became Fonterra.
From 2003 until 2006 Lisa was a trainer and network administrator in Tauranga. During this time Lisa was responsible for training people in Linux, Networking, Server Management, MS SQL Server administration and visual basic programming as well as providing corporate training for Microsoft Certification. During this time she gained I-Net+ certification, Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator (MCSA) and became a Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT). Lisa gained commendation for the Exceptional Educators award in 2003.
In 2006 Lisa became a web and database consultant at Massey University, Palmerston North. She looked after the School of Engineering and College of Sciences websites and servers as well as providing support for conferences and research based websites.
She is currently completing her Masters in Information Systems, which is based on a web based customer and business booking system for a service based business.
